'Second Testament' - Peter Schwartz DOGZPLOT is a quarterly literary journal interested in publishing high quality literary fiction, creative non-fiction, artwork, photos, random thoughts, and poetry if it's absolutely mind-numbing. DOGZPLOT is what the description says, erratic, so send us precise, playful, honest, original, disgraceful, hopelessly optimistic, dirty, beautiful, ugly, thoroughly proofread, over the top writing. So don't send us the good stuff. Send us something that will blow our fucking minds. BARRY GRAHAM (fiction) is a four-time National Tic-Tac-Toe Association (NTTTA) champion (1988, 1994, 2004, 2006). He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with an MA in Creative Writing. While at EMU, he served as co-editor of their annual graduate student anthology, The 50/50, and was an assistant editor for Bathhouse Magazine. Barry currently teaches writing at Monroe County Community College and spends the off-season in the poker room at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. He also teaches creative writing workshops as a Writer in Residence through Dzanc. His fiction, poetry, and mixed-media has appeared in the following publications Storyglossia, Hobart, Pindeldyboz, Thieves Jargon, elimae, Wigleaf, Monkeybicycle, Insolent Rudder, Dicey Brown, and others. His debut short-story collection, The National Virginity Pledge (Another Sky Press) is forthcoming in 2008. BARRY GRAHAM is the 2008 recipient of the Jumpmettle Award for excellence in fiction and was recently nominated for the Pushcart Prize. JAMIE JONES (poetry) is currently working towards an MA in Creative Writing at Eastern Michigan University, where she also received her BA in English Language and Literature. She is the author of two chapbooks of poetry The Other Room (2006), and Imaginery (2005). Her work has appeared in Flashquake, Prick of the Spindle, Slughorne, Cellar Roots, and 51/49. She plans to teach English Composition in the fall at EMU, and until then, she is desperate to hear new voices. PETER SCHWARTZ (art) is an abstract painter with aspirations of taking over the entire Internet. In addition to having his artwork featured on over 80 websites, his paintings have appeared in such print journals as Existere, Orange Coast Review, Red Wheelbarrow, Reed, and International Poetry Review.
